In 2005 as a Yearling, her first
horse show.
In 2006 as a 2 year old (with only
60 days of riding, and you
wouldn't believe there's a truck
pull going on the other side of
the arena would you??)
In 2007 as a 3 year old,
warming up before the show.
(after a 6 month turnout with
only 2 rides before this show)
Due to being only me here most of the time, this horse has not had the time she
deserves.  The good thing about it though, she has a great disposition and she's not sour.
She has not been pushed AT ALL, and she loves to go places.  She runs her fence line when I
hook up my trailer!  She has also has some showmanship training and it won't take much
to finish her spin.

Baby had 60 days of riding as a 2 year old, get her broke and started.  She then went to
two horse shows for exposure, took Grand at both of them.  One of them had a truck pull
running right next to the show arena and she went on around like nothing was happening.
I then turned her out for 6 months to 'grow up' (and boy she did some of that, physically!).
She was then ridden once to make sure she remembered what she's supposed to do, she
picked up right where she left off 6 months prior--there was no 'refresher course' to it.
Turned back out due to my busy schedule and lack of time to continue working her she
was ridden once again after another 6 months had gone by, yet she picked up like she'd
been ridden all summer and fall long.  Ice and snow came along with lambing season so
back out she went....

As a 3 year old, she had several rides, and went to a few horse shows.  She took Grand at
all 3 of them.  Then show season came for the sheep and I was on the road quite a bit so
she was put out yet again.  On Monday, June 16th, a little over 1 year later (yep, you read
right, 1
Year...), she was ridden again.  With the warm weather and being out of shape she
tired quickly, but mentally she was "all there".  The video below was taken that night, she
was lunged at a jog/trot for about 10-15 minutes (just to be safe) and then ridden.  She
stepped off, with Bobi Jo aboard, like she's been ridden fairly regular.

This video is her walk/jog and started after about 10 minutes of riding....keep in mind this
is the first time she's been ridden in a year...she's out of shape and it was kinda warm in
the indoor.

H
ere's one from S&D Painted Acres Horse Show with only 4 rides under her belt, this is
Junior Western Pleasure Horse...she was 4th in this class.

And this is All Day Pleasure Stake (junior and senior horses), she was 5th in this class.

6-16-08, right, as a
4 year old-hot and
tired after her
first ride in a
year...needs a
shave and her
mane pulled since
one of the other
horses started
that for me.
